Had this issue some weeks ago, but not in my Gun Master mode. In my case it was caused by PvE AI player and player count, it was higher than the player limit. The logic editor worked fine. My Gun Master mode works fine. You could try to copy your experience. Maybe something ist corrupted.

You could enable an input restriction, or change all of their ammo to 0 for that slot

One or the other would work. However I suggest you set the input restriction to false whenever you want them to be able to use a secondary again

The recent blocks have really helped push people to make more modes. I will say this right now, if DICE add every map to Ground/Air Superiority, I think we'd have a great spark of creativity in the community

Next mode I will try to make will be an Attack and Defend mode, PVP but maybe with AI to fill the gap.

Under the Soldier modifier you can turn off ON-FOOT DEPLOYMENT

This will force your players and bots to spawn in vehicles. This can also be set in the AI section independently. I hope this somewhat helps.

Not sure how different it is on PC, but after launching my TDM HC server, i literally watched TV for probably 20 minutes while sitting in Squad and Players to wait on folks to join and didn't get kicked

not sure if that affects if your not on the squad and player screen, versus just spawning. Might be different once you spawn and are inactive

when I turn PVP AI on it removes all zombies on team 1 but keeps AI at team 2

there’s been some feedback to make it co-op but at this point idk how

one fix is to unlink PVP and PVE modes between both teams but we can’t have nice things

what? Im not sure what your talking about..... When you launch a portal server, you can click ADMIN, then click Take Down. Once you click that, there is a BOX that pops up saying "are you sure", and a check box that says "Don't ask again"

my wife clicked "Don't ask again" so i don't see that box. I apologize if the original question wasn't clear, but I don't see how BF 2042 maps, and 1942, or BC2 or BF3 are relavent.

Sadly you cannot use the editor for conquest. However for Ground Superiority you can. The larger maps have the usual flags, you just can't spawn on them once captured.

You can replace and mix gadgets using the editor however you cannot mix vehicles. Using Ground Superiority you can specify how many of each type of vehicle per team but you can't swap BF3 for 2042 vehicles.

Yeah, there's 2 types.

The first is using the existing flags and activating/deactivating them.

The other method is through creating custom areas/objectives. There's no physical area but you can set a coordinate as the objective.

You could set a condition so that when player enters a vehicle it sets a variable that assigns it to that players team.

Then if a player enters it after that, a check is done as to what team the vehicle belongs to and you can either force the player to exit the vehicle or be a bit more sinister and blow it up with the player inside it

If you don't make certain changes to the modifiers in portal and if you don't have bots, it'll give you full xp as if you were playing on an official server

I agree with all of that, except having paid skins doesn't make the game pay to win. In fact, skins should incentivize the devs to keep going. Warzone is a live service model and Portal being f2p would need to follow a similar model to pay everyone's bills, and to keep providing content.

PVP AI will fill empty player slots. They will leave the game when a player joins and takes their slot.

PVE AI are always in the game and don't use any player slots. There's a setting for how many PVE AI you can have.

Oceanic (Aussie) Server. If it's unpopulated, you have to 'search' by either the name or marking region as Oceanic. Server settings allow full progress. It has slightly more tickets, slower vehicle spawns, downed soldiers can crawl and slower vehicle and player health regen to make teamwork and healing/repairs meaningful.

Yes, it's irritating having to set the filter every time over and over again. It should save our search. I miss battlelog from bf3, as much as others had teething pains (for several years) with it. At the end, it worked well.

So I realize putting AI in a Portal server causes virtually all XP (minus "Player XP") to be disabled, but I've noticed I am not even able to put AI in my custom 'Conquest Large' experience at all—even if I want to test the damage modifiers. The slider for 'PVE AI COUNT' is maxed out (all the way to the right) and set to 0. Are players forbidden from using AI in Portal experiences right now?

Adding AI to the portal or any action in the rule editor will cause the experience to become "limited"

Well... I had to make some update for my zombie portal matchup I created if I'm gonna do some grinding, like increase tickets to get many kills but it's only like 1190 or something, conquest 64v64 (not conquest large), limited vehicles by removing aircrafts except one the MV-38 Condor, and the name BF 2042 vs zombies PvE if anyone see it they're welcome to join if they want to do PvE, depending if they're in the mood.

Setgamemodescore adds a point to a certain player or hits team. This can trigger on certain conditions.

If you put a Setgamemodetargetscore in a ongammodestarted rule block you can set the tickets to whatever you like. Don't forget to change the gamemodetime with longer or shorter rounds

No problem. In the portal site when you get to the restrictions section, let it stay on map default and click finish in the bottom right. This way you'll have 1942 factions on battle of the bulge, bf 3 factions on noshahr, etc.

If you're referring to the Global Damage Multiplier, values less than 1 reduce damage from all sources, while values greater than 1 increase damage.

Can you make AI static with portal? Or make it so they positioned in 1 area of the map.

Well yes and no
We can sort of limit their movement by teleporting them to same spot again and again, but the engine has a fail check that checks if the bot is stuck at some place and then kills the bot
