no meaningful bug fixes for HZ, NA West Coast servers are still non-functional. Use a VPN for NA East Coast or EU. It'll be a high ping for you but at least you'll be able to play. EU has the largest HZ player base with NA East being second

It's a PvPvE game mode where you have a squad of 4 players against 7 other teams (32 player map). Coordinate with team members, stay alive (only get one life unless you have redeployments), grab data drives, and try to extract at either Extraction 1 (E1) or Extraction 2 (E2)

You have to play on NA East Coast or EU servers, West Coast servers are not working. Use a VPN if you can

Premade teams have fill priority over solo queueing players

Since there are no server selections you can either play with known players who are either based in NA East Coast/EU or use a VPN to find matches in those areas

If you’re located at or near NA West Coast, those servers do not work. You’ll either have to use a VPN set to NA East Coast or EU, or find players who are based in those locations to find matches. We have a decent sized server with dedicated HZ players who are mostly based NA East Coast. We find matches all the time. DM me if you’re interested in joining the server

It was supposed to be squad based, high-stakes, competitive mode but there was no VOIP for 4 months...and they're surprised no one was active on it and now they're scrapping it... Makes no sense, i throughly enjoy that mode and am part of a discord with over 1,000 members who actively play..least they can do is just add the new maps into the rotation for HZ aside from bug fixes

I agree, its such an interesting take on objective survival. It feels like an invention rather than a innovation. Its incomparable to a battle royal an its in its own league. The problem is the people playing HZ or BF2042 expecting a pick up an play exprience but on then get frustrated because tou actually have to use your brain an not do a frontal assault everytime. A New concept where the basic battle royal strategies thats been so ofc its going to feel incomplete because nonone has played something like this but mannnnnnnnnnnn this has got so much potential. I hope they dont take away hazard zone. I hope they add more material that u can unlock exclusively through HZ that can be shown off.

It's not even a battle royal, and was interesting to play but lots of gamers are casual like myself, we don't have discords set up with gaming TTV TWITCH clans, we'd like to play once in a while and VOIP is big in squad based gameplay, but the fact it was lacking for 4 months - why would people wanna play squad based game to get trashed every time.

I strongly believe that if your going to put a game out like 2042 thats so oncomparable to what we see today in the market, invest in a story mode to teach new an returning players the ropes an concepts of what 2042 is trying to achieve. If your opening statement is “VOIP AN SCOREBOARD are legacy features” then PUT US ON to why. Sell us on why something thats such a staple to FPS’s needs to be phased out. They took a progressive approach an i respect it fully. Took alot of balls to do that. I just wish they tried a little harder to sell that point. Their tutorials are good for some one thats a good listener but for those hands on learners a war story or campaign is needed to have the player feel like they have some footing when jumping into a multiplayer match or a game of HZ

The game REALLY depends of teamplay like there are a lot of premade teams going in and just extractin on first but not the whole team so they can piss abt and play with others and not let them extract
