Gauntlet Mode needs a rework. That is not at all what I imagined it being. Here's the concept I had in mind. Gauntlet Mode should've been competition to Call of duty's DMZ mode. Except it'd be contract based instead of Gear/Extraction based. So basically you'd have access to the whole BR map. There would be contracts scattered all across the map. You have 40 minutes to drive around, explore and select which Contract you want to complete. Each contract has different scores. So if you complete a contract that is 5 points, that won't put you up in the scoreboard, but if you complete a contract worth 10 points, you go higher. You can have your loadout. So what you'd be looting is cash & random valuables that increases your ranking little by little. There can be respawns, but if the squad that kills you had a bounty contract on you, that eliminates you from respawning. The lower you are on the scoreboard would also eliminate your squad. So it's a race to complete objectives. If you die by a squad but it wasn't part of a contract, you respawn. There's no circle closing anybody in. It's just about exploring, looting, completing various objectives. As the match progresses, what does close everybody in is the fact that available contracts are disappearing because people are completing them. So there would be 1 last contract left. Once the match ends, it then counts all your contracts completed & valuables looted. To determine who's first place. There'd be AI militia presence that are guarding each contract, infilling from helicopter to prevent you from completing contracts. Strongholds could house valuable supplies that boost your position on the scoreboard.
The problem with DMZ was that nobody did contracts or cared about valuables. This would solve both of that. It would add tension without gear fear & without single-life. It'd reward teamwork, looting and exploration.

anyone know whats the point of hazard zone? like do you get any unlocks from it or is it just for the hazard zone money that you get from it for the next hazard zone??
