I would love for the developers to explain why the only updates they make to HZ only frustrate the core 100-150 players that play it every day, but they never add back they original maps like Discarded or fix broken uplinks. You ran away from this mode too soon, its concept is amazing. I understand leveling the player field, but almost ever update since "no longer supporting HZ" has been frustrating. Maybe come talk to us that play the mode, seriously its like 100 of us on there every day. I could easily make a list of EA profiles, as it is that small community. For all the issues and your lack of support, we still love the mode.

easiest way to get it is manage to get a game with only your team and one other, let the other team take the first extract and your team takes the second one (or if its somehow uncontested take the first one). Just try to avoid the AI teams as that's all you'll have to worry about then

Man, I'm just having a hard time here with just how insanely annoying many hazard zone players are.
That whole "play the objective" is already hard in some gamemodes, but you'd think that in something so specific players would in fact play the objective since otherwise you don't really get anything out of it.

But instead it feels like so far I've seen 3 types of teammates:

• AFK
• Just runs off alone, dieds within a few mins (or if they don't, they refuse to redeploy), and leaves the match if they do. Seems to mostly be snipers.
• Completely clueless, just running into open areas without any cover, seemingly completely unaware that like 3 snipers are shooting at them.

Also basically nobody seems to speak on the text chat.

Maybe that's in part because of crossplay, but idk

Man, some players truly are special. Just was in a squad with someone who just seemed to see the game as a walking simulator or something and who was scared to shoot.

Dude was the only survivor of the squad, he ran back and forth in the same 20 meter radius for like 5 solid minutes while picking up some data disks of teammates that were getting shot, never fired a single shot or attmpted to help, even when some enemy was very visibly standing in smoke to heal himself (dude was literally looking at his back) and then just logged off.

We made it to the extraction in time, the landing craft was empty, but there were some enemies kind of nearby, but nothing inside.

And right the second the thing is about to take off, seemingly one teleports into the aicraft right behind us and kills us all.

Yoooo there is a work around to getting into a match.

Get a squad (preferably same platform) …find a match.
If it goes to Discarded let it load.
If all are on the same platform one person back out/restart the app (the rest stay in the loading screen)

re-invite the 3 other stuck in loading screen.
Then search for a match while they are stuck and it will pull them in

If you are different platforms it must be a two and two thing from what I understand

My honest opinion is that it's not hard at all you just gotta figure out the game mode.

So is 2 things you can focus on:

1. Kill Players first and hunt everyone down and be vivtories with the loot later unless AI takes your booty out to dinner and finishes you.
2. Focus Loot first but always have to look over your shoulders cause when AI are alerted your position is given away which makes you a easier prey.

On NA and EU servers i find it easier to just load up but server wise am not sure there is many playing Hazard Zone in here which is sad.

Why is EA messing up HZ and releasing without properly testing the game. We got new bugs with the latest release. 1- you cannot deploy a ranger or a vehicle even if you have them until somebody dies. We don't know the number of redeploys until we die too. 2- the game sometimes doesn't allow you to redeploy even if you have the redeploy. you're stuck and can't redeploy your teammates!

Yeah, since the last update.
Try killing yourself and getting revived by your team after you pick up one or more uplinks. Will usually work fine after that. You may have to do that again after a second-chance deploy too. Sometimes even that doesn't work and you are just screwed.
Hopefully they will fix it on the next update (tomorrow?).

Anyone else having the same problem with joining any lobby? Keeps putting me in Discarded but never ever loads the map….this occurs after the yesterdays patch for some reason.

some days lobbies get broken, even before last update. what you can do to bypass a broken lobby is to have squad mates, one of you stays in that broken lobby loading screen (must be one that is the same platform as one of the other squad members) and the squad leader starts another squad and also sends the friend who stayed in the broken lobby a new platform based invite (cause he can't accept BF2042 ingame ones while in loading screen. When all together again, start a new HZ search.
So leader pulls the other one with him but as he is in the broken lobby atm, you won't load into this one.

Well I need the achievement's too I don't play it I only run AI to get all weapon attachment's (figuring out my new favorite weapon too on the way) I ran 1 as I mentioned some people join here and there but ultimately leave upon dying I was lucky to squad-wipe 1 team solo with my drive's as I've had the element of surprise. It'll be a while before I jump on as I'm heading off-work and I also gotta grab daily reward's on other game's as well I'll let you know possibly 2h if my friend message's me then pretty much tomorrow or whenever
