DMZ is one with Tarky extraction. But not the first in its genre

Div1 survival is one of them. Came out on PS3/360/PC. it have PvPvE and PvE matchmaking. It’s extraction shooter based. It received very well feedback and was loved by the community

Question about the hazard zone trophies. I have both ps4 and ps5 versions of the game, and trophies that require a certain amount of something, like masteries, or x amount of kills, etc, carry over from 1 to the other. Like when I got T1 on ps4 version, as soon as I hopped on ps5 version and started a game, the t1 trophy popped as well. Some trophies that require specific actions like clean extract, destroying an air vehicle while parachuting, do not carry over... My question is, do the hazard zone trophies for extracts and data drives carry over? Does anyone know?

Hazard zone would have been more well tecieved except it got very repetive very quickly. You can only extract the same exact item every game and the hit reg issues at launch was the nail in the coffin. Hazard zone is way better now but won't recover

i still wanna play the Battle Royale on (what was it?) BF5? .... i wish they would have done something with that and then kept it going with 2042. Then their BR would have been so much more mature by now, instead of starting from scratch, after everyone has already played it out. i thought it was so fun, cool, and intense .... because of the fire that kept closing in on you and it kept consuming everything as it came it. i've never played another BR that was like that and gave me the feeling of being consumed like that, from any other BR game. It made if feel like you actually had to run from something (something that your brain knows can hurt you in real life), instead of some imaginary blue circle that's closing in, lol. Whenever i want to get on and play it, there's only a few ppl playing it 😦

Firestorm (the BR mode) was very good and I hope they do release another BR.

Some issues with Firestorm were :

1. it didn't arrive on release, but much later, which meant less players played it (some left, some didnt even bother buying the game, and so on)
2. it was their first time doing BR mode, so there were some issues on launch (loot stacking on top of eachother)
3. WW2 setting is not as popular as modern setting (Black ops 4 was out at the same time with Blackout - a modern time BR, and a very popular at the time)

I personally enjoyed Firestorm so much more than Blackout. The visuals were waaaay better than Blackout. And the destruction.... nothing like end circle being around a lake with some lakehouses to hide in, and then you see a V2 rocket come down and blast everything up. Ahhh so good, and no other BR has ever replaced that feeling right there.

People were pumped about hazard zone thinking it will be the modern version of Firestorm with lessons learned and such but it ended up not even a BR but a very "lightweight" extraction mode.

totally agree . Also was hidden behind a paywall where other BRs were F2P. The WW2 setting def hurt as well , many guns had no scopes at all just iron sights.

But to this day , it still is the best closing circle of any BR hands down. I still believe BF can make the Best BR ever. Most realistic , most militaristic style with total destruction as well. They could crush it , I really hope they do. Bring back Firestorm but in current era weapons

Not saying people dont like extraction but it will just never be as popular mainly because the gameplay loop leads many people to play in a way they avoid fights instead of seeking them out. I got 300 hours in hazard, its the best mode “for squad competition” in 2042

Literally the only meaning for having squad, except spawning on mates

Playing hazard and because of small online, there are the same squads you see in lobby so your skirmishes can become local and personal to find out whose squad is better

Thats why its ACTUALLY interesting to play more then conquest/breakthrough
