If you play breakthrough you can get heaping tons of weapon XP on infantry kills on top of base XP for objective play really it's personal preference tho you can average the same XP in either mode

I don't care who gets the final shot if I do 90 hit points of damage on a dude and then somebody scoops up that last 10 points they shouldn't get more XP than me

Definitely a clear majority I can agree with 75-80% of damage so long as the enemy hasn't began healing yet

I think once healing begins it should reset

are you playing AoW, HZ, or Portal, ik you said Solo/Coop in AoW didnt work, but im curious to see if portal works

it could also be an issue with the update, if it isnt letting you join, maybe verify your game files

if it isnt consistent between servers, like random points, it might be what @edgy oriole got where he would get disconnected randomly

can you turn on network debugging in Settings -> General -> Network
just flick them all to either enabled or on problems

the latter (on problems) might be good, cause if you see a popup on screen of a graph, and then it kicks you, that would mean that you and the server failed to handshake / connect

if you dont know what that means, then no. go to your game documents (usually User/Documents/Battlefield 2042) and then in the settings folder, there is a PROFSAVE_profile file, open it and find the Dx12 setting, set it to enabled (1)
