Angel's supply packs only resupplies primary and secondary weapon while crate also supplies grenades and gadgets. Although Angel has a giant supply station that he can call out, which resupplies everything, so ammo crate is probably not as useful for him.

One guy here said that classes were better because it resulted in more teamplay, but I don't think it did. If you look at BFV for instance, you can see a majority of people played the medic class. This is because it had the best guns. It wasn't because they wanted to be medics. It resulted in a lot of medical just not doing their jobs, or people sort of half heartedly reviving like "oh that guy kinda died near me, fine whatever".

2042 medics chose medic because they really really wanna play medic, and as a result I'm seeing more revives. Medics can now choose whatever gun they want, and also choose a gadget that they want. You can choose loadouts that are far more personal, and the game gives you far more incentives to support your team well simultaneously making it more voluntary. It's a win win

Technically no considering Portal maps are from other Battlefield + Portal maps are not designed for AOW use as you can see it can only handle 64 players

The maps are so good I can’t stop playing them. Discarded is my favorite map for getting immersed in the battlefield.

The problem is they are not AOW maps, they are Portal maps, we want new real maps not remastered stuff that they could have made into a 2042 and 128 players version

The map design in this game is amazing, it's just idiots like to go out in the open areas that were clearly designed to be traversed using a vehicle you can literally call down from the sky.

Yeah to an extent. I still think it's a case of some areas being meant for infantry, and some areas for vehicles. Usually maps have like three or four different zones where most of the infantry combat takes place and then the areas in between are the wide open areas you don't fuck with. Like no man's land
