I unlocked all AC-42 attachments but the first optic was still locked for example
And it happened with a bunch of other attachments on other guns as well
For the very first ones, I was grinding them in solo but they unlocked themselves when I reached the next prestige tier in multiplayer
But that one attachment was supposed to be unlocked in MP and I did a whole bunch of prestige levels both in solo and MP, didn't solve the problem till some day when it decided to unlock itself

The 1200 probably refers to the burst rate of fire, which would be the number of bullets per burst divided by the time it takes to shoot one burst (3 bullets). They've changed the displayed ROF to a more meaningful value in latest patch - rounds per min, which is 480 rmp (standard ammo and barrel)

Imo the ac42 is alright with only burst plus single fire mode - this is in part what makes it unique. While full auto weapons far easier to use (at least for me), I prefer the ac42, which can be deadlier than other ARs if you're super accurate. I think it needs a MINOR buff tho, which is sadly not happening

Agree that ac42 high power ammo doesn't offer a considerable advantage over regular ammo for close-medium range combat. HP rounds only extends damage output of 22 hp/bullet by 25 m - this does however translate to a lower BTK, 1 bullet can def make a difference... For long range engagements (100-250 m), HP + extended barrel a must for me because of significantly higher projectile velocity
