I can't help but think that Portal and AOW are at odds with each other, as design ideas.
Portal is unquestionably amazing for Battlefield fans. No question, incredible potential. However, with AOW, they're simply trying to follow the industry model of drip-feeding seasonal releases and a "progression system", which in turn necessitates putting a progression ceiling/limitation on Portal to prevent exploitation within Portal.

...which makes players want to spend more time in AOW for the feeling of progression, which makes players feel like there's a lack of content when they burn through it. On Portal's end, you feel like you're wasting time being "progressionless" since there's xp limitation and you don't really have to unlock Portal things. It's like AOW and Portal directly compete against each other for a player's time

Her passive draws her attention to vehicles that can be preyed upon. She can field her rocket and C4/Mines to accomplish that. Ergo, she's a fine anti-vehicle Specialist. Rao performs a different angle of AV by being able to prey on them by disabling their counters and weapons. Sundance performs a different angle of AV by being able to bait or harass them with her grenade. You could even argue that Angel performs a different angle through sheer volume of fire harassment by being able to rearm himself.

I mean, you're allowed to not like her, but it's a bit disingenuous to pretend like there's only one way to do it that ignores strengths of choice and tactics.

that's kind of always how battlefield has been, to be fair. most vehicles in BF4 required either another vehicle or multiple people in order to effectively deal with them, particularly tanks and attack boats. air vehicles could be taken on with one person, but you would always either need to expose yourself for multiple seconds in order to get a stinger lock, or be skilled/lucky enough to pull off an RPG/SMAW shot. for air vehicles; lis doesn't require the former and requires less of the latter; you can chip away at a helicopter while completely concealed

Lis a downright vehicle predator. Predators are most effective going after the weak and wounded. Lis also doesn't need ammo support to hunt vehicles. She can also perform AV/AA while carrying a Spawn Beacon for her own benefit, or that of her squad in a forward or flank while she hunts.

You can make a cup of coffee between shots in full auto, at least at the unmodified RPM. However the weapon does reward you for taking that time between shots to aim properly.

The one takeaway I can give you from the BSM is that it absolutely should never be used in close range, you will always lose that fight
