They were not good at listening during BFV and were almost antagonistic with the community. They improved at the very end however, and did revert those changes. But those changes shouldn't have happened in the first place.

No, frostbite was only ever difficult for people making games that weren't Battlefield. It was made purely and only for Battlefield, so it became a huge chore to make any other type of game with it. It has since been developed to be far more capable of taking on other genres.

It's always been great for battlefield, it wasn't great for games like nfs, anthem, etc. That's not because of the engine, but because of the studios insisting they use it knowing it wasn't built for the games they were making.

PvZ gave the option to earn normal progression under the condition you played with AI on the hardest difficulty which was a fair trade.
