I still play the game. Dont get me wrong. I have fun. But it just runs so badly. I have been having some instances where my controls and everything stop working in the game. About a min later, I can control my player again and press ESC and shit.

I hear you, I play once a week for the mission and to keep tabs on the game state. I have more fun when playing Flashback Conquest though. I think the balance changes for the most part have been good (although I didnt feel the need to nerf the Boris turret) - and of course minus the stuttering bug for PC players. But yeah, we need content to, and stability.

As for accountability, not sure what they could realistically do. One thought I had is to announce their plans for the next BF game, what vision they have for it, and why they going to set things right by making the BF game that fans trulywant. And then, ditch new 2042 content past Season 1 and offer Gold/Ultimate buyers a choice: either a partial refund (for the missing seasons) or like the first year's worth of season passes for the next game covered.

I mean, the alternative is somehow trying to salvage 2042 and sway opinion - but I wonder if that is realistic

The only BF that actually had an entire mechanic that meant something around getting top level was Hardline, every Legendary rank added a number to the rank and increased your reward gain based on the amount of times you had done it as well as giving every mask type (also boosts rewards for different activities based on which one you were wearing), otherwise it was 'haha BFF knife joke' and afaik 2042 is effectively only a special number system.

Yea 360 kills on non sentient beings seems pretty easy

just do breaktrough on orbital, sit on a rooftop above an objective and farm away

you can easily get 300 kills in 30 minutes

thats why im so against full tier progression against bots, 1200 bot kills is 2 hours of work, while it took me 2 days to do a weapon

so either give full progression but up the kills to 28k bot kills(takes about the same time as 1200 player kills), or leave it as is
