It is leagues apart in quality

The characters faces in Battlefield 5 even grimace when they get shot. There's over 20 different animations for a bullet hitting a characters body. Characters legs dynamically react to sudden turns and terrain changes

Hell your character had animations specifically for running into a wall and touching a nearby wall while sprinting

And thats just the stuff for standing up straight

Battlefield 5 has the best animations in the series without a doubt and I personally hope 2042's animation team will live up to that in the near future

I mean they literally categorize the specialists by classes. They just don't currently affect specialists at all. Lock the gadgets to the classes while leaving the weapon choice freedom and most people would be fine with the mechanic I think.

So I have been playing the game since the 4.0 update for a bit and noticed a voiceline I've never heard before
I was playing as Dozer (always do) and revived a squadmate who played as Falck
So instead of saying that she should just keep breathing or something he said something like "not yet Maria! We still have to find your son!"
Did someone already have this triggered before the update? Or are the devs implementing some rare voicelines during certain actions to tease something like upcoming specialists?
I didn't really know what to do with this information so I figured I would just ask here if someone had similar experiences since the update or if it has been in the game from the start?

I used to play without aim assist on BFV back when I was on Xbox, but then I realized I was just handicapping myself for no reason when everyone else was using aim assist

I think it comes down to personal pride. If you want that extra little moral boost of not using aim assist, thats great, but its also a completely unneccessary handicap to give yourself if you don't want to.
