I further tested some techniques with Nightbird and I think I have what are 100% working missile dodging techniques provided you have some distance from the attacker. Tested as Nightbird against Attack heli and Wildcat AA missiles. Does NOT work against Stingers. The first is descending dodge which involves simultaneous activation and hold of Rudder left, Throttle Down, Pitch up and Roll Left. You can switch the Rudder and Roll both to right if you prefer just as long as they both go the same direction. This will result in some altitude loss so you want to make sure you have some to spare.

The second dodge technique is an ascending dodge (good for when you are close to the ground) and involves simultaneous press and hold of Rudder Left, Throttle Up, Pitch Up and Roll Right. You can switch the Rudder and Roll directions as long as they are opposing directions. For ease of use I use the direction keys on the keyboard for the Roll actions and the spacebar for the pitch up.

yeah, game won't let you into a completely empty AOW server, it usually lets people into a new game once there's 50% of the server pop, it fills the rest with bots, then backfills players as needed. Or, you join one of said games in progress.

Unlikely but even if intended it's a broken mechanic - you already get a small hit box, the ability to have someone repair you in passenger seat, and countermeasures. Being able to dodge them (with minimal effort mind you) is totally unnecessary and cesspool level balancing. Why would I ever choose AA weapon as vehicle if they are going to fail to do AA?

i disagree. fallout 76 is as good as previous games, if not better. its fundamental idea of being a multiplayer/coop game in one of the most unique survival universes has stayed and has made it one of the largest entries in the series.
Bethesda stayed to their resolve, fixed what needed to be fixed, and did what needed to be done to create a solid game on an even greater foundation.

Map flow is not a problem at all, character roles are based around their unique gadgets, maps aren't similar at all, vehicle play is fine, attachments are designed well since you can actually alter your gun based on the engagements you'll be in, progression has never been a big thing in battlefield and maps are honestly overhated

The main complaint about maps is the lack of cover which is greatly exaggerated

Map flow is a problem because there’s no defined choke points or hold out points, on the very points that have them, abilities like the grapple hook can have you just climb behind it up somewhere, destroying those points

Character roles are based on their weapon locks and gadgets, the weapon restrictions ensure the player follows the plays style that best works with that class. The reasons medics always had SMG’s is because they’re only the front line reviving, right where the enemy is

Maps are all empty fields, what differentiates them in terms of layout? I’d like to know

Vehicle play + the call in system mixed with the only empty maps creates an irritating feeling of not being able to reach the enemy, also provides all vehicle easy lines of sight

You always chose the same attachments in terms of everything besides scope because there are clear best winners. With scopes, being able to change them further ruins the benefit / negative trade off and further pushes players to play outside their set role

Renewal and Kaleidoscope have only one, Breakaway has nothing except the oil rig. Hourglass has literally nothing on Breakthrough (I guess the stadium in Conquest but I don’t play Conquest). The only maps that balance it well are Discarded and manifest

Choke Points are clear in areas like the stadium on Hourglass, the tunnel on Orbital, the border on Renewal, the Oil Rig on Breakaway and the multiple clusters of buildings on Kaleidoscope and Manifest.

There was never a point when medics were forced to use SMGs

Maps aren't all empty fields at all, Manifest has jungle / dockland combat, Orbital has jungle & building oriented combat, Kaleidoscope is focused on skyscrapers & large interiors, Discarded has forests, destructible rural areas and huge ships, Renewal is the only map with a true focus on fields and it has tons of cover.

Can't reach the enemy? Shoot at them then lol

That's the point of the plus system, you're meant to change your attachments based on the type of engagement

Support for example, its almost never used in its intended way cuz everyone hate suppressive fire effect, But! people confuse "SUPPORT" with "SUPPORT FIRE" what its a definition of the ASSAULT category so LMG guy must be part of the Assault class in the same way Medics was an Assault kind of unit for the Assault platton,

leave the specialists alone and instead just balance them

BUT on top of that BF its not restrictive in any matter so no matter why you pick the LMG guy, if your role its Give just ammo, why its not Supplier or Ammo bearer a role by itself and detached of the LMG guy, after all there a reason why Rifles and LMGs have the same caliber, but its another guy who carries the ammo,

ALOT of games take really serious the roles of each one of these classes, theres like 1 Ammo bearer, 1 AT guy, and Squad lead and a Sniper, and cannot be used unless theres X amount of members of the squad and the SL its able to revoke the role of the soldier if its not using it correctly,

That's what I mean, they have too many different kinds of specialists for 4 groups

They put them together as medics because they are the only ones in the game who can revive anyone

So its not best use the specialist be what they are actually like ROLE SPECIALISTS

Just move them to portal mode and change maps will help bring more back lol

they will have to focus on specialists and classes in the next game, just work on the maps being wide open uninteresting

rework all the maps to make them denser and have more stuff going on

They are always updating their portal modes too so allow those who enjoy specialists all the weekly rotations and make classes the main part game
