You mean in PORTAL? I keep hearing people say that a lot, but personally they feel just fine (at least to the same level that the 2042 weapons feel). I think people are conflating hitreg issues when it's really about spread control. Gunplay was a lot different back then.

Back in BC2 (and several other titles), it was all about utilizing movements to get the most accurate spread of any given weapon. That's not really the case anymore in modern games.

They actually tried bringing it back to some extent in 2042, but people were complaining.

Breakthrough is utter unbalanced shit
The maps are not dense and interesting enough. There are not enough interesting indoor areas.
The Boris turret is shit and ruins the game

I do like the chaos of breakthrough as a change of pace but its gotten to the point where if you are on defense and you don't hold the first sector you might as well quit because the rest will be a steamroll

It's just as boring on attack because you can just mess around and not try and you will win.

I like close games that you feel like you have to compete

If you look around you can see it. Hourglass is the result of heightened storms and desertification, both Discarded and Orbital show signs of sea level rise, Manifest has a huge sea wall off in the distance, Renewal’s whole premise is attempting to reclaim land to farm to try and feed a starving world, and Breakaway shows how a lot of Antarctica is declining (also drilling oil I believe is illegal in Antarctica IRL)

Well you can get a rough idea of steam numbers from various sources. Then on xbox 2042 isnt in top 50 played below games like blops 3. So that just leaves sony consoles and origin and we can expect them to be roughly similar proportionally
