i mean there definitely does seem to be a problem with those 3 vehicles but the most you can do is either take another aircraft to destroy them, rao+FXAA, wildcat, or SOFLAM, every time i SOFLAM helis they end up close to dead or dead, dont underestimate ur 63 other teammates (or whatever you may get cause i see the bot server jokes already)

There are moments when my team (all 32 of us bc aint no way im playing 128) are all rushing a sector and its amazing. its insane, explosions everywhere, etc. but lord the downsides to this game are, well, visible lmao

i really do enjoy playing 2042 but at this time idk if there is a point - the weekly missions are mid, seems like the april update is gona become the may update, etc

1: It doesn't matter that maps are bigger if everyone PTFOs. A tank, 2 wildcats, a pair of little birds and a Condor crowding a point makes trying to PTFO with infy useless. Tanks and vehicles are all supports to infantry in warfare... not the stars of the show like in BF.

2: The fact that all infantry can use AV kit doesn't mean they do. 99% of players don't, unless they're tilted by vehicles. Even then, something like a good little bird pilot doesn't even need to worry about that. Also, it takes 3 hits from a M5 recoilless to take down a condor. Totally ridiculous.

Perhaps you are right that they are the weakest they've ever been... but then it speaks to me for my entire playing experience; vehicles are way too strong proportionately in BF games. Call it a hot take

It should only be 2 c5 to destroy any ground vehicle either, getting close to them is the work, why having to throw 3 on it also!

Thousands upon thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people hate on the game because DICE lied and their garbage game shipped broken af. They are busy fixing the massive brokenness of the game instead of putting out new content. Same 7 garbage maps for a whole year after release. That is straight trash

But…..they will add a couple of boxes and mud to the grass on only 2 maps of the 7. DICE is a circus 🎪

In order for people to come back, EA needs to rip this franchise from DICE and give it to another studio. Any studio is better than DICE at this point. Anything DICE is tainted.

with that saying I'm trying to let people understand that what seems to be very easy to do (from an external point of view) doesn't mean that everyone has the right to put 💩 on somebody else job if they don't know at all what does mean doing that job

The issue isn’t the fact that we haven’t gotten an update yet, it’s that we don’t receive any little updates except the monthly ones. We are left in the dark for weeks at a time. We know what they do, it’s just that they only give us updates for a game that is reviewed as terrible. They have not made the game better since launch. The scoreboard was a step in the right direction, but it’s so poorly made. We can’t even view it at the end of the round. Everyone has a right to complain. They spent $60-$120 on a game that receives monthly updates that has a shitty negative review percentage on steam.

well they actually already talked about what the next update would bring, if you chose to read through the pretty large stack of posts they’ve made. and EOR scoreboard, something you mentioned not being in the game, is on the list for the next additions. they really don’t keep us in the dark, i think #948574259209437264 is a pretty big example of them having interactions. and even if they only have an update once a month, they usually plan them ahead of time, and like they did around the release of 3.3, they said what features they want to add over the next x period of time, stuff like the scoreboard, eor scoreboard, voip, bug fixes, balances, etc. they made sure to include a rundown of the future changes so that we would be prepared

if you read their last core feed back note they talked about what was talked about in the core feedback, so yes they do acknowledge it, but they do not personally respond in the discord to messages, this is probably to keep impartial to the ideas of the community, so that the map changes (and other core feedback topics like the upcoming specialists one) will be purely community feedback

iirc the data mined leak didn't even have a concept screenshot of 3 of them. Would be awesome to get all that new content but I'm guessing that's a season 2 thing with all the focus on revamp for season 1, which is also needed. What would really be nice... Take the Portal maps (which are time tested and they already tweaked to make ready for 128 players) and land those into AOW for CQ/BT modes in the normal map rotations.
