I have to say. casper is prolly the most fun ive had with a specialist so far. the drone can carry support gear including c5. just wonderful. the drone just by itself is like another video game in itself. helping teammates see enemies. and even funnier moments of teammates completely ignoring enemy pings and running to their deaths.

We’re reducing the number of attack vehicles and helicopters that can be active at any time in 128 player modes per category from 3, to 2. This means you’ll only be able to encounter 2 tanks, and 2 attack helicopters available at any time, instead of 3 each.  
We’re increasing the cooldown for attack vehicles and helicopters from 60, to 120 seconds.
As discussed earlier, the MD540 Nightbird will be moved from transport into the attack helicopter category, and the MC5 Bolte will also be moved from transport into the attack vehicle category.

Yeah faster turret rotation but then also more attention to the damage taken at various angles, distances, sides so a 90 degree direct impact from an m5 on the rear panel would be maximum possible damage, whereas 45 degree hit on side or front is much reduced. It's not the game engine. Frostbite can easily handle it. Hell, the villages in Hourglass and Discarded are completely destructible from the ground up. The problem is the map sizes and lack of cover.

we will have to wait until a future project for larger scale destruction, at the expense of smaller maps or some would say normally sized maps for a bf game, cause it’s true Frostbite can handle it, just not now unfortunately (at least in the way people expect/want)

be more specific. every battlefield tends to be different but fundamentally the choice of flying in aircraft, using tanks, and shooting people exists in pretty much all of the them, especially 2042, so by definition yes this game is worth playing

it gets worst when you factor in which team is defending, if the US is defending, it most likely won’t have air superiority since the su50 is more agile and the enemy team will have more almost the entire game, especially depends on what map US is defending on

renewal is generally very flat so using VTOL to break someone off you will probably never be an available option for you, whereas for example in kaleidoscope with how many skyscrapers there are you can easily hit vtol between them to get behind an enemy

with all this factored in, chances are you will have 0 chance of air superiority, so what also happens as a result is all of your vehicles get AGMd with no counter play and then the helis and nightbirds and enemy armor just easily capture every defending point with the infantry
