The destruction in Portal more or less matches the amount of destruction in the original game it’s emulating. You can’t dig holes like you can in BC2, but other than that almost everything you can tear to shreds on the BC2 maps

BF3 maps have similar destruction to what BF3 had on those maps, and the 2042 maps don’t have anymore than they do in AOW

I don't know but a lot of people complained about specialists, if so there should be plenty of portal servers with bf3/bc2 classes and mixed old/new maps, instead there aren't (I'm talking about european servers) ; I tried a couple of times to open this kind of server but the maximum population reached was 6 or 7 out of 64

Im actually a huge fan of the operators. It just needs some changes to stimulate team / role play, but i dont see why that couldnt be with operators. Its a fun thing in the game to grind for: outfits, new operators, like other games. Maybe remove all abilities from operators and just add the old roles to the operators: medic, assault, support and recon. That way we could both enjoy operators and the old gameplay of roles. I kinda like playing with a operator of my choosing with a outfit of my choosing

Bf 5 wasnt giving them the financial results they hoped for. Because the game was meh at first. Than they added the last fix, and believe it or not , it fixed 95% of the game. Sadly they already moved on, while that was the point they could make the game turn around in a financial success but i think the management at ea was short on patience. I dont blame them, everything in this world is about money these days.

So the devs got a task, make a modern warfare game asap because CoD MW showed how much fans want a modern war shooter. So they worked hard on it, but by the time given at ea there was no way they could make a bf game with the quality we are used to. So they basically got a bf game now that is half finished. They thought the community would swallow it, giving them time to complete the game through seasons adding stuff. They forgot however that we got even less patience than their bosses. Now here we are
