Pretty much a waste of time imo, none of the changes will make 2042 a better game. It's just gonna save them from getting sue'd .
As said, rewriting and rebuilding an entire AAA game costs not only alot of time but also loses €A a metric fuccton of money which they aren't gonna get back with a couple season releases for such a relatively small playerbase as 2042s.

You can hope and think 2042 will get gold but I can tell you you're not gonna get far with those expectations. Just look back at BFV and think.

Yeah. Honestly I don't know how much more tweaking it really needs, its fine enough as is. Vehicles are strong in the right hands but can still be fairly easily taken out and are best handled by a group of infantry. So aside from a few specific cases, I think its mostly alright.

For me, those 7 maps are huge, and even the shaky ones have areas that are fun to play. The 22 weapons are fun to use and have a lot of variety considering the plus system. I think the fundamental difference here is the fact that I choose to enjoy games for what they are instead of get mad for what they're not like many understandably choose to do.

The main problem with battlefield is that each title is historically so different from the last that the community has divided into several different sub communities, all of which define themselves as the battlefield community and want to pull the game in a different direction. Therefore, whenever DICE does something, at least one of them gets mad because it’s not exactly like whatever game they mostly enjoy.

BF4 fans want more like BF4. BF1 fans want more like BF1 (usually the people you find screaming about immersion). The list goes on.

you actually need to maneuver accordingly from where ur hud indicator showed missle tracking

• use the minimap to spot their AA shooting at u with guns

that way you easily deal with AA in any jet

especially when its some noob just sitting there with the AA tank.

two JDAMs + a gun run and they are toast in one pass

in helos you just spam TVs and TOWs.

it gets exponentially more easy with teamplay too

have a squady or teammate distract the AA and you can just farm it down.

All of this made vehicles in BF3 and 4 so much fun. They canceled each other out to some extend, especially when teamplayed with.

FF is a core franchise that SE couldnt afford to ruin and so got a lot of time and resources put into reviving it. 2042 is being sidelined by other games like Apex and Fifa so I wouldnt see why EA would dump lots into it when apex and fifa makes lots more money with less cost.

Nah the way it worked in BO4 had 2 stages

Normal

• Full Mobility (Sprint, hipfiring etc)
• Legs are exposed
• Whenever you fire you move the shield to your side and start shooting without cover

Fortified (Click E or something to enable)

• Low mobility (Always moving at crouch speed)
• Legs aren't exposed, entire body is covered from the front
• You can now fire through the center of the shield without risk of being shot

It's also noteworthy that to reload the pistol, you had to lower your shield
