I talked about the underbarrel launcher before but after using it more there is just one quality of life change i'd like to see
I understand why you cant bring up plus menu while the launcher is active to switch grenades. It probably causes other problems. Thats fine. But the process of using the launcher, noticing you want to switch grenade type is cumbersome
Flip off launcher
open plus
select grenade
Switch to launcher
new grenade is loaded (sometimes its already loaded, you never know, so you have to do this whenever you switch to check)
Then flip off launcher if you are using regular ammo.

If you are in launcher mode the key for changing fire mode should just cycle between grenade types, and trigger the animation for loading a new round, and keep you in launcher mode. this would cut out all this back and forth needed to switch grenade types.

I guess the main disconnect is that you switch grenade types while not using the launcher mode, so nothing happens when you change grenades, until you flip over to launcher mode. And most of the time a new round is loaded, but often it isn't and the new type is just there.

Here's the thing, make changes but don't remove what made your game special. They removed the clan ladder from BF2 to BFBC. They also removed conquest for BFBC1 until months later when everyone complained of no conquest. They added squads for their new game mode Gold Rush and then when they added conquest they kept squad spawning because it was too late to change the game mechanism at that point and that ruined conquest forever because it was always a territory based game and you could never skip the map like that b4 and spawn on a squadmate. All they had to do was add new maps, fix the glitches and update graphics.
