I hated the guns in bf1 and bfv, too similar to cod with no recoil. This is more simulation. Bf4 recoil was the shit, you had to actually work on your attachments and see how your recoil pattern was.

Ok Ima say this. I love destruction. But BF4 levelution most of the time made the map worse. Like Shanghai. Good map when towers up and it’s cool to see the tower fall but afterwards it’s dog. I like bf1s style of destruction where everything can be destroyed and it’s not just one big event that happens, which is what 2042 does.

I think the gun audio needs work, and the impact. Like when you shoot the scope just goes backwards and up. In bf1 it would bounce varying ways. In 2042 the gun just goes straight backwards, no alterations whatsoever. Fro example, look at the bf1 po8 pistol. It bounces left to right in a differing pattern. But the pistols in 2042 just go straight back and up with no special recoil. Makes it feel fake.

And since there was no difference in speed ( or very minimal) there's no reason not to crouch run, I think it was good for bfv but in 2042 I don't miss it

I think they would fix some of the complaints about maps by increasing the tactical Sprint speed by 15-20% or whatever would feel not too outrageous
