Took a couple weeks off this game but came back on Sunday and haven't stopped playing, seems alot of the bugs that plagued it before are gone. They added that scoreboard people were crying about, never cared honestly. People care too much about their kds now. Just play the game for the wicked moments battlefield is known for. And they added a rush mode, so fun, was my favorite mode in bf4. I feel the bombs explode alot quicker tho.

The problem is the scoreboard is fucking trash not that they should’ve kept it out. Repair, healing and stocking ammo don’t get points…it’s like the people who developed this game have never played a battlefield game before.

You do get points for it you just don't get a column for it on the scoreboard. That's why when you have a bad kd but rank higher it's usually due to the other support and capping points

I liked how in the old app, you could customise your guns and load outs while on the go or while playing the game. And they had the squads/platoons menu. And platoon emblem editor. It was nice and simple, but it stopped at bf1 and I was a little upset, that it didn’t carry over to bfv and 2042. It would be great if you could access portal customisation through it, instead of wasting 30 minutes setting up your load outs and equipments through the various portal factions. Where that 30 mins could be used playing the game.

I don't want to understate the work the team is doing but I think there was a lot of hope that the march update would fix issues like not being able to ADS and aim being broken when getting out of certain vehicles, revive bugs, cache issues on PC, things that actually affected gameplay and required a redeploy or restart to fix. Seeing those issues persisting after months has even the biggest supporters of 2042 feeling like the game is already on its way to being dropped support. The scoreboard is great, but its hard to understand how the scoreboard was of greater priority than a bug that doesn't allow you to aim up or down or ADS, that can happen anytime you ride in a vehicle.
Is DICE really focused on 2042 or has the majority of staff moved to the next thing? What feels like slow progress for major issues (not just balancing or new content) feels like a sign that 2042 isn't the focus for DICE/EA at this point.

If you cant answer thats ok. Also ive heard some people who exclusively fly helis/jets say that they feel like there were changes made to the spread on the Miniguns and rocket pods were nerfed in damage/spread. Were there changes made that were not outlined in the patch notes?

Yeah the challenge of them makes them fun but they’re kinda limiting in how you can attack things. You only got lock on missiles and a cannon, nothing you can effectively free fire and nothing to really hit infantry with. With everybody having the option of equipping AA equipment as well as the wildcat, bolte etc in addition to most maps not having lock on breaking terrain/structures I find it very difficult to stay in an air vehicle for very long. Maybe a decrease in AA ammo, shorter flare reload times, or future maps having more cover for aviation would be a positive change. I think air vehicles are fairly powered besides defensive systems. I’d like to see a wider variety of air vehicles in the future, specifically jets/planes.
