I think Westie said this in his video but if you see how they’re asking for feedback on map design now and dice states that the changes will be implemented DURING season 1 that means it’ll take 3-4 months just to fix maps. i mean...whats the point of copying that genome?...at the end youre gonna use it on a human specimen anyway.....so you have to modify the human genome itself...hell, its not that we're genetically limited (although yes, gene expression controls physical attributes), its more so a physical restriction, for such pilots you'd need to do physical modifications, stronger and bigger heart, better circulatory system, maybe altering blood composition, you need to beef up the rest of the body to hold those two, youre looking at bigger and stronger lungs with more alveoli to extract more oxygen, stronger cells, stronger bones to support those increases in flesh.....

now yes, you could technically do all those and attain a stronger human, but he wouldnt survive in our atmosphere normally, he'd have to permanently be wearing oxygen masks while carrying a tank

again, chaging the blood compostion and pumping system could counteract the pulling effect of gravity....you wouldnt really have to alter the brain much

Yeah that would utilize the map better, there isn't anything convenient to do for the US team, the map is traversal-y impassable to just spawn in and have a cohesive flow throughout the game. Most of the time, with the prototype, the map would more than likely shake out to where RU team has F and D flags, then it's just like the US side on Hourglass and the stadium point on that map; a similar situation but on prototype Kaleidoscope the US team wastes a bunch of time on D (a point that is already hard to push) or F, the breakthrough defense point... I don't think it's correctable from how the X design works currently, currently it's asymmetric... which is fine being not balanced it makes the gameplay different for each side, but it doesn't disadvantage infantry focused play.

Understanding the assets like vehicles take time to learn, and those moments when you do well should feel even more rewarding when they are initially hard to use

Another example, when I started to learn to fly I made so many mistakes, I looked like an idiot. Constantly making random turns and losing every fight. I studied actual dogfight manoeuvres and plane fundamentals, and through experimentation and application I eventually managed to take down an ex member of a dogfighting platoon in a public match

It was a good 2-3 minute long dogfight too, near the end I even had a broken wing. But I got it, the guy even dmed me afterwards saying ‘good df’

But when jets function entirely by clicking twice after locking on, with a turning rate, bullet velocity and spread that makes them useless against almost any target, I physically can’t get better because I’ve already reached the peak the game will allow
