Yeah I’ve filtered it by region to Australia, messed with all the settings so custom games would appear, and there’s still just two servers that appears, an official server with one player and the custom one I mentoned

One of the criticisms some Ww1 experts have on BF1 is that it's unrealistic and wrongly depicts Ww1. Which of course it does, but it inspired me to go and read more into Ww1 as a whole when I started playing, so I think they look at the game in the wrong light

In regards to the 2042 comment about shutting it down. I think if they continue treating it just like how they announced it as a live service it will continually evolve over time. As long as they listened to the community that's playing the game and listen to them specifically that owns the game and plays it it will become the best game of all time in regards to player feedback.

The weekly challenges are not too bad it just kind of takes away from playing the game the way you typically would play it and focusing you on specific tasks. As long as it's retained around support aspect of the challenges such as repairing healing and resupplying. To me that's team-based and that is better than going off blowing up tanks because it's a challenge for the week.

I want to go on a rant about this but this is text so im not gonna write up a friggin thesis paper. TLDR, the psychology behind that is deeply, deeply flawed. All the Dev/Publisher is trying to do is get you to come back to the game grind a skin that takes a mediocre amount of play time in the chance that you stay and possible buy other mtxs. They could just make the challenge challenging and have it in game at all times for anyone/everyone to obtain while grinding in the game
