placing spawn beacons while going up or down elevators glitches you into big buildings, kinda OP if u find a way to squeeze out and keep ur beacon inside the building, some maps i have personally found multiple spots to crawl INTO rocks, barely peak head out and can kill people yet they cant hit me, snow map in the big split thing toward the top where theres that ladder i found if you stand BEHIND IT run at it and jump it flings you 300+ feet in the air, peoples drones acting as titanium walls if hit by a helicopter

conquest is a bit outdated to be honest, because all it takes is that for it to run out the tickets is just magically somehow push to get that static location again and again, Operations is indeed the more refined version of that conquest concept

I mean, I just find conquest to be a bunch of random skirmishes that don't have an affect on the greater outcome at times

I would much rather have it come down to the center objective, but opponents can cut off the spawn point at the center objective if they flank and steal a point closer to their spawn

that's how I think conquest should be refined

otherwise it's just too spread out with no real way to play

I also notice as commander, that even if squads knew how to accept objectives, they are just so spread out across the map, that orders don't make alot of sense

commander mode leaves alot to be desired in bf4 I have to admit, and I come to the same conclusions and wishlists each time I play it

exactly my thoughts but back then the idea to improve it wasn't quite encapsulated yet because arena shooters is still a thing, and a spreadout skirmishes with multiple capture points is exactly what Battlefield trying to achieve in its early days to make it unique, by the time goes on and Rush was invented they realized there are more rooms to it, Conquest is best if the objectives are not equal, if you remember Conquest push map in BF2 for example in Blue Pearl map, one side objective is to push and others is to defend, there alot of dynamic outcomes to it if one side loses massively, conquest is best if put it that way, in BF4 it got too late the staple become too repetitive at times because the capture points is still the same spot with each other fighting for the same thing

I don't think much is going to change for player count. Too far gone with Call of Duty/Console stuff that they are still design fixated on and trying to put in Battlefield. They probably can't really change the matchmaking and party system issues that would help retention and be more immersive, I don't know maybe they are working some magic in season 1. Maybe more people will play the game just based on additional content. But it's not an empty game. Not even a bad game.

Yeah Call of Duty console matchmaking and weapon skins, weapon customization, weapon mechanics. There are 4 player squads still like there are 4 controller ports on the console systems. Literally have not moved on to a PC format, like it's watered down for console and yet here we are with consoles out-performing PCs pound for pound.

The TTK is in a good spot though, it's not... stupid like Apex or COD, it's reasonable against headshot mechanics play. Not too fast either. The only reason you would play another game is because you like to cheat, or people that cheat want to you play that game because they cheat and it helps everyone's self-esteem somehow.
