I personally really enjoy 2042 tho. It's got some really cheesy lines, but it doesn't ruin the experience for me. And I get it may not have as much content as the older games, but the last one I really played was 3, a decade ago. So I don't have much to compare it to.

So cheesy voice lines aside, I enjoy the gameplay itself, tho it does lend very well to vehicles and sniping.

From early access to before xmas break there were a total of 4 patches. of these patches there was an increase of stability for servers. gun play was adjusted and some nerfs to the PP29 and buffs to other weapons to include increased hipfire for all smgs. Bolte and hovercraft were nerfed. Those are significant changes. Just because there wasn't a shit load of content added to the game doesn't make those changes not significant. Edit: also adjustment to skyscraper breakthrough points removed.
