The best we have are Steam numbers which should favour Battlefield 2042 since unlike the other games it released on that platform during launch. Battlefield 1 didn't release on Steam until 4 years after release so the player base on Origin should be even higher. Quite possibly double of what they have on Steam.

Mobile AA will kill you long before you kill it with rockets in a plane. AA gun has superior range and those rocket planes cannot take that many hits.

Exactly. To achieve that, there needs to be little resistance. If it's possible in BFV, it's possible in BF4 and BF1. BFV had the most potent anti-air. If I see a plane that is bothersome in BFV, there are a ton of options to take it out.

They do rely on their F15 counterparts, but at the end of the day, they are trained for it.
