you have nis enabled in nvidia control panel to disable it open nvidia control panel settings > manage 3d settings then set imagine scaling off

what is nis?
basically dlss (without dedicated hardware) so it renders the game at a certain resolution that you set (lower than native) then it upscaled it to match native resolution giving you more fps due to rendering it at less than native but i can cause loss of image quality due to the upscaling process

to use it simply enable it in nvidia control panel then open a game (for example 2042) then go in the game settings and set a lower than native resolution for your screen and the nis indicator should become green indicating its working
