It would be considered a milsim in BF2 atleast conceptually. Obviously the technology and hardware wasn't there to support what would be considered a milsim in the modern age, neither would 2042, but conceptually as far as the flow of BF2 match was played at the highest level there was intellectual development.

2042 is an improved Battlefield, it's the newest modern warfare release, much better than BFV BF1. I don't see why people would play Hell Let Loose or the other WW2 shooter that released along with that, just not enough to the game. But these 'mil-sims' lose a lot of gruff with the fact there is a lack of any logistical support situations with how it can affect the game or anything like that. It's just sub-par battlefield players wanting to have more affect for less skill.

Which I will remind you bf1942 and BF2 had built into the game.

Clear the sector is a good premise, the maps have great layouts, breakaway even slimmed down, is an awesome map. Despite lacking the logistical support tilt based on flag control. Breakaway is a shining example of how much better the map is than anything BC2 or after to this point.

Hm, It slows you down for too long imo, and it doesn't recharge. Something like the Medical syringe from mw would be much better imo (Speeds you up for a short period of time and heals you) you should be able to use it while sprinting

Because I play in solo co-op mode, is it possible to spawn in a chopper with AI soldiers already there? Tried it a few times and couldn't find a way to get other AI Players in there.

Honestly I'm hoping for me the game doesn't die but hopefully gets improved. I like it so far, but I don't really focus on some of the things that matter I suppose. I'm just content to play in solo or co-opt mode due to my visual impairment. But I love the sounds of the game. They are pretty nicely done in my opinion. The only thing left to figure out is to have AI bots spawn in a helicopter so I can gun while one pilots lol.
