They way I see it, every 2 main titles since bf2 (BC1/BC2, BF3/BF4 and BF1/BF5) the franchise has changed their style DRASTICALLY and focused on different side features, Bad Company had Rush and Destruction, BF3 and BF4 had simplified traditional Battlefield while BF1 and BF5 were focused on smaller maps with as much action as possible, BF2042 is nothing new and just focuses on a new type, and yet people are surprised

^^this tbh. Ever since BF4 there's always been this push towards "big open spaces sandbox" ish maps (with a few exceptions like locker or operation underground). With 2042 they took this concept to the absolute extreme except for Manifest ig, which is the only map good for infantry (tbh I wish they remove the hill objective for a more linear gameplay). With so much space, unbalanced vehicles and so little cover, it's just such an annoying gameplay loop. Get into a vehicle? Die after getting locked on by 10 people. Go on foot? Die by a vehicle. Get into a gunfight? Get out of the tiny cover you have, aim and pray to god the other guy doesn't have armor and fire

She's a Recon Specialist. The one thing that's really good about the spotting thing when in vehicles is if you're in, well, let's say a Transport Chopper and a Wildcat hits you. That Wildcat is not only spotted for you, but to everyone and is brighter than fucking Rudolph's red nose to you.

Armor typically only blocks one more bullet, when they're at a distance or using small arms like an MP9, Vector, etc. But those guns fire too fast for one single bullet to really matter at close ranges.
