It shouldnt only be in portal because its only emulating what made past battlefields so good, you're mistaking community servers with dedicated servers,
Advanced movement was also present in Battlefield 1, macro destruction is literally what levolution in battlefield 4 and the behemoth deaths in battlefield 1 were, a majority of those guns are reskins of the weapon sets in 2042, old battlefield maps didnt have to accomodate cover for 128 people, at this point in Battlefield 4's support timeline bug fixes were going live almost twice a week, every battlefield game has a similar variety of maps as 2042, just done better in the past, I also didnt like the lack of voip on bf3's launch either.

But it was already turning into call of duty. That's probably not going to be an issue again so what's there to complain about? The 'community servers' are the same exact thing that has been running the dedicated servers for other games these days, as well as Battlebit... There is no comparison between battlebit and 2042 i'd say people play 2042 because it's the new battlefield game but they've put the game on steam and have basically invited that community who are happy to sit there and play with hats and counter strike and other just generally terrible games with garbage gun mechanics to say a far superior game like 2042 is missing stuff. You see him interacting with irish from different angles but everytime his face is hidden by something... Finally, you switch to 1st person again, now in his room, fiddling with his gear... He goes to get something from his locker, we see the inside of the locker with a component that he's searching for, he looks up to a photo of his old team from early bf4... A call comes on the intercom for commander recker to report to the bridge for transport... The camera then switches to Inside the locker as we see his face for the first time... He shut's the locker as the screen cuts to black and you just hear "let's go" in a deep voice..
