I agree, maps are barren & boring. The game itself eats a lot of power and it's hard on the CPU/GPU from what I've heard. I don't own a PC, so I can't really say anything about performance, but I'm sure that's why (and 128 players probably doesn't help).

Specialists aren't really that bad. Some need tweaked, sure - and I'm sure they'll balance it like they normally do.

Weapons, there will be more added with the battle pass system.

I dont like the movement/gunplay, so I can get behind the "janky" feeling.

The meta feels as if they have just lumped on armour and at one point they've just given up balancing the game. Instead of removing it, refining it, adjusting it. For example, handheld launchers are the most unsatisfying things to use in this game. One questions why in the lore of the game the army developed them because they don't destroy anything with a single shot. So many instances of weapons not doing what they are perceived to be able to do or in fact should do by logical standards.
