Yup the Pacific DLC is proof dice knows how to make good content. However someone up at top is really forcing in unproven ideas for trends from other games that is destroying battlefield. Halo (343) was in this situation since Halo 4. They didn't really get it right again till they got rid of the terrible management and hired people who actually plays Halo but the most vital aspect of Halo getting fixed was player feedback. They listened to their community, made requested changes, and kept up communication with the community the entire time. Complaining and feedback works only if dice listens. I think they are starting to bc they don't have much of a choice tbh. We will find out though.

This is what HUNT SHOWDOWN is --- U are a hunter before any round of the game u pick your loadout weapons that cost money not real money it's in game money weapons are old from cowboy era old clunky single shot weapons , u can play with two random people or with friends , when you in game u got one objective u have to find the boss it could be any of these monster assasin , spider , butcher and scrapbeak and for that u have to find 3 clues but the thing is other players are also doing the same thing they are also trying to locate boss location whoever finds the boss first either they can kill the boss which takes time or can wait for others to kill the boss and kill them while they are doing the hard job so when the boss is dead u get the bounty token whoever owns it got 5 seconds of ability that lets player to see other players if they are close or in the range now others players will try to hunt down those players who has the bounty and the bounty carrying team has to extract alive if they die they will loose everything and in doing all of these u have to kill weak zombies they are of different types , so if you make it alive or extracted alive with the bounty u will be rewarded with money and skills that can be used to upgrade your hunters ability, the money that you make by winning is the money by which u buy weapons in the game and this is the loop
