Usually it is cuz this engine is supposed to run exclusively on DX12 on BF2042. Try it and let us know the outcome. I've tried it myself on 4 x different rigs and the FPS got improved, less stuttering or frame dipping

The bird doesn’t need to be nerfed, it needs to be re-tuned. Dice needs to understand the mini guns are anti infantry weapons, not anti vehicle weapons. So the damage has to be modified. I kill more infantry with the rockets than the guns, because the guns do utter shit to even clustered infantry.
