One of the seasons didnt even have a map, it was a 6 month gap between panzerstorm and mercury, the rotating shop never rotated for months, firestorm and coop failed, and not a single roadmap ended up being accurate

the fact is battlefield, while not being strictly "realistic" has always been "real" enough to enable what some would say is a key requirement for entertainment, "the suspension of disbelief" which basically means, what ur seeing doesnt necessarily have to be factually accurate or real but just close enough to not be jarringly beyond belief. so, basically, knowing for a fact that there were next to no women involved in ww2 combat (they were ofc heavily involved in support roles such as running factories, hospitals etc etc) having women be featured so prominently and when looked in context, so excessively, is jarring and breaks the suspension of disbelief. which in turn pisses a lot of people off because it just looks outright stupid. if ur going to have dozens of women running around the battlefield u may as well have zombie hitler, jesus, the easter bunny and chewbacca there as well
