BFVs live service was the worst possible live service we could have gotten. Deluxe edition buyers were quite literally scammed, ttk changes no one asked for, lack of content and communication, then finally we get Pacific and the game is dropped. That live service deserves absolutely zero praise.

I think, Anthem wouldn't have been such a garbage game if they didn't obtain the publishers services until 80% of that game was complete.

Game Developers need to go back to the original way of making a game... spend a couple of years on storyline/concept art/building the world of the game, then spend a couple years developing said game.. and once it's near complete, hire the services of a publisher to mass produce copies.

Well for one thing i would have to miss those missing features. Which i don’t. I didn’t even realize they were not in the game or even in the older games most of the time because they never contributed to the enjoyment. Never did I go in to a game and be excited for seeing a scoreboard at the end or if i got a suppression bonus, they were to me, just the lettuce of the battlefield game. A battlefield game to me was always about big maps, some destruction(i say some because coming from bf3/bf4 destruction always varied.), vehicle play, and infantry play. 2042 does a good a job and gives you the ability to be more creative with the specialist/plus system. Also the land vehicles are a bit more customizable in regards to the the passenger seats which is a nice touch.

Honesty, it’s just the general experience. I don’t feel like I’m on a team, hell, I don’t even feel like I’m in a squad. It’s just a cycle of spawning, dying to meta vehicle/gun. Not only that, but the sheer lack of variety in gadgets and guns is appalling.
