The game in its current state is very underwhelming, even compared to earlier BF games upon their respective releases, and there's a considerable lack of content. Nevermind the usual new BF game lack of polish. The concept is good, and there's definitely a lot of potential in the game. As it is, I'd wait until a sale or wait until it gets a lot more content and polish.

I think it's a better starting point than the sidestep they did for 2042. They tried to change too much and it hurt them. To me, BF4 felt a bit saturated with weapons and vehicles. The sweet spot for me is a bit more simplified than that. Honestly, BFV is still one of my favs. It wasn't always that way, but they fixed it to be that way
