The specialists being able to use anything and everything killing all sense of teamplay. The lack of a class system also kills the point of loadouts, and teamplay. (Not that previous games had much of it to begin with, but it had more than it does now). The terribly designed maps, the lack of a scoreboard, or private servers that kills any, and all clan matches. Add all chat to that as well. There are a ton of core issues that have been labeled as "legacy features" that lends credence to Dice's tone deaf responses towards it's community.

Portal is a separate mode. Teamplay is nowhere near on par with previous titles. If you play Conquest, or Breakthrough in the AoW modes barely anybody is coordinating, reviving, laying down ammo, etc.. The lack of VOIP doesn't help this situation at all. The smaller squad size also doesn't help. You must be one of them blind fanboys.
