I like how good they are telling us story about BF 2042 in all maps. If you take deeper look at the office (inside building) in example kaleidoscope, there are notebook and poor paints artwork. There is no story how and why we are in BF 2042 universe. What happened to the civilians? What happened in shipments ( black box?), what happened with breakaway oil platform?

BFV had a higher overall playercount in total compared to 2042. So as others have pointed out we don't currently have numbers for the console versions of 2042 compared to BFV. So while more people play BF on consoles overall, it is not a console specific game or else they wouldn't release it on PC in general.

It totally forces it. You can be a jack-of-all-trades with the loadout system, you can barely interact with your teammates with the really bad callout system, lack of voip, and poorly made map objectives. Everything in this game forces you to play solo instead of as a team.

On top of those poorly designed features you got a lack of a scoreboard, small squads, and lack of all chat. Can't even have a private server for clan matches, not that the stats (or lack thereof mean anything)
