personally My top list off the top of my head is:

• Fix the damn bug where I cant spawn in every other round and have to alt f4 to fix it
• Readjust their focus to offering more small scale formats because a lot of people hate the massive games. Make 2042 rush permanent
• Make tweaks to the maps, a few of them have waaaay too much open space and make it easy to get pinned back hard
• Improve movement. Add back leaning, most of all
• Persistent game lobbies, maybe even map voting too
• For rush, make it so you don't repeatedly either defend or attack, its more fun to alternative like BF has always done in the past
• Let you pick your squads
• Add a scoreboard
• Probably various rebalancing I'm not pro enough to know about
• Maybe a hot take but I think they should remove everyone being able to revive, that can be kind of OP if a team uses it right, especially on modes like Rush
• Add server wide text chat and let us turn off the chat filter, this is a rated M game
• Remove the painfully cringey remarks from the specialists to add just a tiny bit more seriousness to the game

You instantly have a spawn point behind all the defenders and right by objective A which is generally the harder objective to take

I just think the game has such a bad stigma from doing what EA/DICE have always done is the reason. I know a lot of guys working on a lot of mods for older BF games. They have their own platforms that use EA authentication since it is legal in the UK. Not one of them has did much with portal because of the limitations versus what they are able to do with the older games.

Settings are saved in Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings. If some third party application or the like messes with that folder, or blocks Origin/BF from reading it, then that happens. I recommend always having a copy of that folder once you have setup your settings in case something goes wrong.

I have no choice to play it. I mostly just play fps on ps5, so basically my only options were this game or COD. And tbh COD somehow made a shittier game than this one. sure, i have been playing battlefield series since i was 12 played all of em except 2142 and wow 2042 is so incomplete, 124 players feels untested, No infantry maps on launch, Classes are dead, tanks and attack heli suck you can defend the game all you want but the reviews and player count speak for themselves.

i cant find anything positive about this game(that other games have not done/ if not better) even if i think hard, thats so concerning.

infantry was annoying because you can't do much against vehicles or against smgs that kill you faster than you can blink and the jet gameplay was even more annoying because you can't support infantry until you unlock ATG which needs vehicles kills that you can't get easily in the first place
