M5 is solid so grind that weapon out until you start getting others. Dxr is a solid sniper. Vector or mp9 for smgs. Pkp is really good. Idk what shotguns people are using

All weapons have their plus and contra for example kriss does very little dmg in range but in close its shredding m9 is pretty good for range and close too but not as strong as kriss on close and not so weak in long. In my opinion the best Allrounder weapon is the M5a3 because you can use different barrels and magazines where you can go for close terminating Or long range easy kills. The M5a3 has a special barrel that gives huuuge fire rate bonus its crazy. I also saw ppl running around with machine guns if Modded right u walk around like John wick

Settings are saved in Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings - if something changes the files in that folder or the game is not allowed by your computer to save into that folder you get that issue. Plenty of threads about it for this and other games.

actually it was a patch of 2042 that did that, all the people ive tried helping and myself included did not have the filewrite protection changed at all. The most likley reason is cause that one patch broke horizontal mousemovement and they dont want to force casuals to manualy go in and delete files
