Not true, look at insurgency sandstorm for example! yeah its monitor setting. idk much about monitors bc i came from a 720 to a 1440. yeah if your laptop is a 1440 and a monitor is 1080. you can only have the 1080 to look good.
idk if its just me bc i never had a 1080 monitor but if i tried to play 1080 on my 1440 it would look absolutely gross.
