Once Reddit decides to review-bomb something the actual score looses all indication of the actual fun/quality to be had in a game, all it shows is that a lot of people were dissatisfied with something / wanted something different.

Most reviews are kinda useless anyway. They don't review the game for what it is, they review it for how it is different from how they wanted it. With BF being 19 years old and having 11+ major titles in that time there's so many different kind of players that the most of them all want something different. In short, negativity around old franchises are kinda built into the concept - if you don't evolve it's bad, if you change the formula it's also bad.

That’s the Frostbite Engine, I still find the game fun, and I can find it very immersive at times, The frostbite engine has a lot to do with that, still my favorite engine in gaming, though it’s the best with BF [for many reasons]

i think with the sale and coupon that epic gives you can get this game for 30 or a lil over 30 with taxes and thats a good sale. but as of right now. they had a portal server "fix" on the 18th and the main servers have been atrocious since then. even tho i d ride the game hard. its hard to tell someone to get it when even i crash everyday or have to leave lobbies bc lag is so bad.

In the fps market you either get relatively slow mobility high TTK (halo), high mobility high TTK (arena fps), or slow mobility low TTK (COD). Titanfall 2 is like the only fps I can think of that gives you high speed low TTK, and it's literally the greatest thing ever.
