Dunno about boosting dozer, but your best bet with Dozer is to stick to close quarters situations. Think like the stadium or skyscrapers on hourglass, the data center on kaleidoscope, or the central ship on discarded. Hallways are your best friend, and cheese melee kills on unsuspecting players to get a few extra kills here an there.

This is all just speculation. 10 years ago to now doesn’t make much of a difference. Game development is still hard. It still takes a while to make games. They had all the advantages in 2013 too.

Players knew how much content this game was gonna have before it even came out. You literally can’t feel like you’ve been ripped off content wise if you heard “7 maps, x amount of guns” and thought “alright, but there’s gonna be more right?”

Gamers have this raging hard on for hyping up a game so damn hard that they forget about realistic expectations. They forget everything that happened about the last games release because of hype. This launch is no different than the last 5 launches. I’m not saying that’s okay, but if you go into buying a new BF game at launch, after being burned 5 times in a row, fooled you twice shame on you.

Basically Battlefield 2042 in its early development was supposed to be a battle royale only title after realising that Firestorm wasn't going to be a financial success based on early BFV sales and predictions based on those sales. But even by those estimates Firestorm underperformed more people were put on the 2042 team. Apex Legends and Black Ops 4 proved that a hero-based shooter was incredibly lucrative and some heads at DICE chose to follow that direction, getting rid of classes as we knew them and replacing them with heroes. Due to COVID and work from home orders it became increasingly harder to develop and test the game of such a scale, and in combination with a lot of senior staff leaving the company they ultimately decided to reduce the scale of the game from a battle royale into a more traditional Battlefield game.

Definitely not “point blank”. You can get 2 AGMS off in 1 strafe, so it only takes 2 strafes to kill a tank at full HP and the missiles reload quickly. It only takes 3 missiles to kill a Wildcat tank. You can also use cannons after/before you fire off your AGMs to finish off low HP armour.

Infantry AA rockets cannot be dodged, if it's not going anywhere near the chopper...it means they've flared. The flares do not always render correctly on your screen. If you cannot lock onto them, it means the flare duration is still on (few seconds after they've used flares)

There are multiple bugs that could be in play here, 1: They used flares but the flares dont render on your screen, 2: You're actually locking-on but the animation/sound doesnt play for you 3: The lock-on mechanic is actually broken. Most of the time it's either 1 or 2 in my experience

I would definitely recommend waiting a few months, BF2042 is a big step down from BFV in terms of graphics, sounds and gameplay mechanics. Even maps are worse. even with AA, most maps are big enough to still get kills and avoid them. AA has to stay in their spawn because of C5 drones, so you can just avoid them. I got 42 vehicle destroys yesterday on Renewal defense. Enemy team had 2-3 AA tanks in spawn from thhe middle of the round onward. AGMs need to be nerfed, 30mm should be buffed a bit against ground vehicles and they need to add more skill-based weapons for jets

Same, I spent 2 hours listening to battlefield soundtracks last night. From 1942 to BFV...then I forced myself to listen to 2042 theme again and found it to be symbolic. It accurately captures the sound of a dying theme and dying franchies
