If you have drives on you, people can find you and it's kind of annoying.

It's pretty cheap to buy guns in HZ. The problem with the economy is that people who are really good at the game never worry about money, and the people who aren't almost never win and can't buy good guns/gadgets every game

It shouldn't be like that though. It should be more of a unique experience like for example get the credits then purchase cosmetics that are very different from the other game modes. But you can use then in other modes. Without a good gameplay loop you don't have the incentive to continue.

Theoretically 1-2 teams out of 8 are going to win every game. So you need to make enough in your wins to cover your losses. You get about 2500 credits in a fully loaded win and about 500 in an average loss (not insta-loss at the start). A meta loadout is about 1000. So if you're winning 20% of your games, you're losing money. You need to be above average at winning in Hazard Zone to be able to always get a meta loadout.

But if you get really good, you NEVER have a problem getting a good loadout. During my first week, I went from losing every game to winning 9 out of 10 games. I had a 15 win streak earlier tonight. So I'm at the 100,000 credit cap and I never worry about spending credits. But people who don't understand the game mode have a STEEP learning curve that is almost impossible to surmount.

tldr: Basically you get pooped on until you know how to win, then you never worry about the money ever again.

Yeah I hope they give HZ some love. Last update was good, most of their mode specific fixes were actually HZ.

They implemented a fix to make it so you can't see how many players are left connected to the match, but funny thing is you can still go to squads&players and check who's still connected.

My biggest issue is that portal and 2042 shouldve been seperate games. They came out with both together and i think theyre both underwhelming experiences with very little to no unlockable weapons and the attatchments are so lazy, like they didnt even try to make them unique. What happened to the other battlefield having literal lists of weapons to choose from. I think adding portal on the same game ruins 2042 and vice versa. It prevents them from putting out a great quality version of either 2042 or portal.

I fully agree, the progression should be challenging without feeling like they just want you to waste time on the game. I think the rise of gaming is hard to use as an example because it went from being interested in the game itself and wanting to see what happens further in the game, to just being happy to play with friends, to being happy you can unlock cool stuff and having a full destructible enviornment, to no longer having a fully desteuctible enviornment and more limited weapons, to not having much of any options for guns and barely any destruction. So id say once you go forward, its hard to come back again and pay the same price for less content when you know they should have the ability to make a game twice as good as their best title based on the hardware available atm.

I dont play cod anymore, but having the option to grind camos definitely gave me a reason to play that game by myself. Now adays i only play a fps game alone if i feel i can gain something from it, otherwise im not touching it without my friends. So cod kinda made itself worth playing for a while. The Piccadilly attack was just “we are bad, you will die”

They should have had variation in map size, but they didn't. They don't have nearly enough vehicles for some of these maps and the respawn time for them is ridiculous. Actually, the respawn time in general is ridiculous. If you're playing as infantry, you have to run for ages to get to where you're trying to go just to get bodied immediately. Whether by infantry and the shitcode issues, or the overpowered Bolte. There is no love for infantry in this game.

What I don't get about 2042 is why they didn't include everything from 4 and improve/add a few. Was plenty to use from 4 as a solid base, guns/attachments/levels/vehicles/destruction expectation, but most was left out.

Uncap spotting is the one where enemies get 24/7 spotted if they are in a wrong place, example just captured sector in rush/breakthrough

Also in bf4 conquest had it, spotted enemies who tried to get a sneaky kills while haveing the 10 out of bounds timer, and spotted at mines that were inside the uncaps
