I see the crossover in that logic with classes, but classes inspired more strategy and team play. In order to counter tanks, someone had to spawn as the class to kill them. The specialist system gives every individual character unique abilities but allows you to build them to do literally everything. I don't agree with this design decision

Yeah, I think they become vulnerable to it a few years down the line depending on use. The few times I had mine on, I left my desktop on for a while and there was no image retention. I think they are getting better at improving it. But yeah, they all get it eventually. I'll probably have bought another one by then though.
