In my opinion, and this is my opinion remember I am a little iffy with bf3. My most used weapon out of vehicles and guns is the EOD bot in bf4 and I tried going back to bf3 and it's just horrendous. Plus the whole spawn beacon dissapearing when you spawn on it even in a parachute is extremely annoying. Plus not being able to spawn in land vehicles from spawn is annoying. Other then that, great fuxking game and even better maps.

Battlefield hardline came out and i didn't really bat an eye, it was very different but it was acceptable. Then bf1 came out and added in those trash tank and pilot classes and censored the chat for underage kids who shouldn't even be playing the game, or at least accept that there's swears. Making Medic and Support into specialists is fucky, cause now everyone else has cooler gadgets than the Medics, and there’s no way to keep the same type of Medic Gameplay on every specialist. Sure, everyone can revive, but even then, Angel is a much better Medical specialist than Falk, the Actual Medical specialist. He does everything Falk does, but doesn’t have the syringe gun…. which is a worse design than the small Med-Pouches were. Fine, I guess you wanna make mobile healing more skill based…. even though it’s already underused as it is, and why you’d make it even less likely for people to want to do it, Idk.

and really, and I think most medic mains can agree, you don’t wanna stop to shoot someone with a Syringe, you wanna quickly hit 3 and keep on with the mission. The small portable med-pouches were one of BF4’s best additions to the medic, and removing them after they became a staple COMPLETELY through off my will to play as Falk. At least with angel, I can still sorta do that, although I do wish he threw the ammo packs automatically with 3 instead of pulling it out first. Whatever, it’s quicker than using the syringe gun. Okay… well then what’s another thing Falk has over Angel….. nothing….. Nothing at all? …. Then why tf even have the medic as a class, If there’s literally a superior Medic class, the Med Boxes make it to where I can still heal people if I want, and Since I’m good about Loadout drops, I can resupply myself, and refresh the timer for my Med-Box and throw another one down if I had to move locations. So at the end of the day, I can come over to teammates as Angel, give you ammo and shields, heal you, and then drop a whole loadout crate for the teammates around me

It’s not that Angel isn’t balanced, he’s fine, it’s just… Falk seems so pointless to me, almost like this was on oversight, and they didn’t realize they made Angel into the superior specialist

Im very disappointed with the launch of bf2042 but i hope they plan on fixing and expanding on the cirrent game, the way i look at it they tried to gice something for everyone with the 3 different game modes but all 3 are unfinished, portal has alot of potential for ppl that want the old school battlefield gameplay, current multiplayer appealt to cod players aswell and hazard zone also has potential as a survival type of gake mode and something to play for.
But this is just my opiniom and ea have fucked alot of games up

it's not bad it's irritating to play and it's hard to play with your friends. If you have less than 4 you're SOL and if you have more than 4 you're SOL. Squads aren't finished, guns are based on ammo setups and don't have a holistic meaning relative to one another, then you have devs taking a shit on the code and walking away and they don't put it in the patch notes.

3 of the main modern BF’s, BF1,5 and 4 all have those. Lets take chaos for example. There is almost never any chaos because the maps are to big. So every is doing there own thing. And there is 0 teamwork because you can have a medic who can heal herself have an LMG and can restock ammo. 2042 basically makes everyone a 1 man army like they are John Wick. And there is no destruction, in past battlefield games you can explode a mine or a grenade and it would make a crater, now your lucky if you make a dent in the ground

Personally I love the game.. it definitely has it’s issues, but imo, it’s the best BF since probably 3.. I really liked 4, but the AA’s were and still are FAR too dominant.

Thing is, i was a beast at 4 for a long time (back in my prime 😅), Even then AA’s were a severe nuisance. I’ve gone back to try playing it again over the years every once and awhile, and I simply don’t have the time to devote to gaming anymore to get back to that skill level. And even now, not the monster i once was, i still consider myself above average (been playing this stuff for years), and those AA’s are just too much. They can destroy tanks, obviously anything in the air, and infantry isn’t even the slightest challenge for an AA player with half a functional brain cell. I thought maybe i just sucked at the game until i tried them myself.. they’re straight stupid overpowered..

Yeah and it's good, but it's not insane. The ground missiles reload slow and the 57mm reloads somewhat slow if you fire all your shots. It's fairly vulnerable to air and tanks
