Aim assist consistently gets in console user's way just as much as it helps. You ever tried moving your crosshair to in front of a running enemy (in the direction they're running) to adjust for bullet travel time but can't because aim assist + average controller look speed prohibits your aim from going in that direction faster than the enemy is running in it? This argument that console/controller players are only good because of aim assist (assumption) is cap.

PC players also have a lot more tools when it comes to aiming that make it pre well impossible to imitate on a joystick. Slight movements are easier, especially on high sensitivity (Which a large portion of pro fps players play on much higher sensitivity than average game settings) and normally paired with large mousepads for more surface area. It would be impossible for a joystick to naturally replicate that precision without help.

the thing is, it can bounce a tank shell but once people fire one at ur shield and it does nothing, they tend to shoot the ground next to you and blow you up

Dice/EA might abandon BF2042 for the next project if it's doesnt sell well or have less playerbase.

Imo the shield should have an hp bar that gets depleted by explosives/NTW that when depleted prohibits dozer from using his shield for x time.

If there are no more players on portal I think it's because people people went an exploited the system by doing XP forming server otherwise Portal was doing fine at that time
