I worked out that because I have the SOLDIER WEAPON ZOOM set to TOGGLE in the options that this stops you being able to change the fire mode.

FIX: if you hold in LT rather than toggle then you can change fire mode... But you can ONLY do this first time you toggle to aim down sight. (Obvs next LT input will be interpreted as cancel zoom)

2nd FIX: change SOLDIER WEAPON ZOOM option back to HOLD... Not really a fix. 🙄

i think it's less so badly optimised and more so just a huge game. You have 2km maps with 128 players, destruction, explosions, vehicles, etc. so naturally it'll be very demanding. I use the SVK because the sniper rifles in this Battlefield are exceptionally terrible. Most of my shots are from 600 meters or more so I wouldn't call it a crutch gun, what incentive do players have to use the DXR when the SVK does the same thing but faster. Also to clarify it's a 2 shot with a 6 round clip and a slow reload, so if you hit every shot it's not like you're raining hell for 12-15 rounds without reloading. If the gun got nerfed it would be useless.

I was a sweat on BC1, BC2 and B4 -- casually played 3, 1 and V. This is my 7th Battlefield game. I've mained recon on every Battlefield except V. There is nothing wrong with the SVK. It's a 2 shot marksman rifle with a 6 round clip. If it had 8, 10, 12 rounds then yeah that'd be too OP. The equivalent to the Barret M95 on 2042 is mainly used as an anti tank gun so Im not sure why we're crying about the SVK.

No one runs K30 lol. SMG players camp in objectives behind doorways or cover and most of them run PP29 or M9 - if you think the K30 is better you're just dense. I run SVK on Breakaway and Hourglass, the other maps I run around with an M5 or the AC42

I'm a rank 59 and most of the matches I'm in are filled with lots of people higher rank than me, that is not some insanely high rank considering the game has been out for 2-3 weeks.

I’ve seen a few people with tier 1 K30 badges. Some people definitely use it.

I’m not a big fan personally. The MP9 is more enjoyable IMO
