With the first part you are 100% right. This game is meant to bring in new players and a lot of them are from call of duty(fortnite not so much i think because this is NOT an F2P. This is ea's biggest Battlefield of all time they have invested millions on it, not only that but also a lot of years and people. They will want it to have a very large playerbase and bring them as much money as possible. Every publicly traded company Exists for that very reason, you cant hate them for that. This game will be their cash cow for a while, and because they cant monitise DLC skins and shit like that are a way to make money from those who want said stuff while not making it predetory

You have a lot of different gadgets and playstyles at your disposal, you can change attachments on the fly. There's a lot to this game. Yeah it's a big change. I personally like the specialists as I feel they added another layer on top of BF to make it feel more chaotic but also pretty balanced. it's interesting how you can approach situations now whereas in BF4 or BF1 you didn't have many options at all
