It just hasn't aged well imo. I've been spoiled by BF1 and BFV. The visuals and art direction of BF1, the details, weapons, vehicles, etc.
The gameplay of BFV, vehicles FINALLY being varied and having very specific roles. Their own progression trees, too. Animations, excellent movement, etc.
All of this beats BF4 for me.

On launch, new gpus had issues with directx crashes, AMD had em too more notably. Literally crashed about as much as 4 for me. I experienced a lot of revive bugs, not the same in 5, but I would get revived and couldn't shoot my gun. I couldn't leave operations. Invisible soldiers some guns. There were plenty of bad things.

Like I said 3 times now, not nearly as bad as 4 or V, but I stopped playing over these things. It feels great now.

@prisma anvil Since there isn't a campaign I've done a lot of digging into the game already looking for simple references as I doubt there are any puzzles. (yet)The radio reminds me of GTA-esque style conspiracy theories. From dead no-pats being ground up and used as fertilizer to a submarine used to create a generic super-leader.

The radio station has a lot of world building on it. Combined with the damn journals. I went from believing there won't be any lore to use for easter eggs to actually seeing an endless potential. I strongly encourage everyone to watch this video to understand the lore it changed my mind completely. There is differently some mistakes made in favor of "Design" but overall the game has a great establishing concept I think they implemented into the world. I do wish they reflected more on design. The EXODUS video takes place in london, and that looked like an incredible map to play on, hopefully we get it.
